Cufflog is a blood pressure tracking app built on a simple principle: your health data belongs to you. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Data Storage
All blood pressure readings, medications, notes, and settings you enter are stored locally on your device in a private database. This data never leaves your phone. We have no server, no cloud storage, and no way to access, view, or retrieve your health information.
When you delete the app, your data is permanently deleted, because it was never stored anywhere else.
Data We Do Not Collect
Cufflog does not collect, transmit, or store:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Health or medical data
- Location data
- Device identifiers for tracking
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking tools.
Purchase Information
When you purchase Cufflog, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) through their respective payment systems. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription status.
RevenueCat receives a transaction identifier from Apple or Google to verify your purchase. This allows the app to unlock paid features and restore purchases on new devices. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, health data, or any information you enter in the app.

Apple Health & Health Connect
Cufflog can optionally read and write blood pressure data to Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). This feature is off by default and only activates if you explicitly enable it in Settings.
When enabled:
- Data is exchanged directly between Cufflog and the system health store on your device
- No health data is transmitted to us or any third party
- You can disable this feature at any time in Settings
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time:
- Individual readings: Swipe to delete any reading in the History screen
- All data: Delete the app to remove all stored data
Because data is stored only on your device, deletion is immediate and permanent. We cannot recover deleted data.
Children's Privacy
Cufflog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
